We collect your location data to verify your residence within the gated community and to facilitate delivery services within your compound.

Your profile information, including name, photo, and ratings, is visible to other verified members of your gated community to facilitate trust and connection.

We may contact you via WhatsApp for administrative purposes, support requests, and important updates. Your WhatsApp number is used solely for this purpose and is not shared with third parties without your consent.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

• Service providers who help us operate the app (cloud storage)
• Law enforcement when required by law
• Professional advisors (lawyers, accountants) under confidentiality agreements

• All passwords are encrypted using industry-standard encryption
• Images and data are stored on secure cloud servers
• We implement SSL/TLS encryption for data transmission
• Regular security audits and updates are performed
• Access to personal data is restricted to authorized personnel only

Jiran is intended for users 16 years and above. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16. If we discover that a child under 16 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it immediately.

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. After account deletion, we may retain certain data for legal obligations, dispute resolution, and to prevent fraud.

By accessing or using Jiran, you agree to:

• You must verify your residence within a participating gated community
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password

• One person may maintain only one active account

• You can change your password at any time through the app
• Use strong, unique passwords for your account
• Do not share your account credentials with others
• You are responsible for all activities under your account

Jiran may be used for:

• Ordering and providing home-cooked food to neighbors

• Food providers must comply with local health and safety regulations
• We do not inspect, test, or guarantee the safety of food items
• Users accept food at their own risk
• Food allergies and dietary restrictions must be clearly communicated

• You retain ownership of content and images you upload
• You grant Jiran a license to display your content within the app
• You must have the right to upload all content you post
• Content must not violate laws or infringe on others' rights
• We reserve the right to remove inappropriate content

Uploaded images must:

• Be appropriate and non-offensive
• Not contain nudity, violence, or illegal content
• Not violate others' privacy or rights
• Accurately represent the items or services offered

• Users can rate and review each other after transactions
• Reviews must be honest, accurate, and based on actual experiences
• Fake reviews or review manipulation is prohibited
• We may remove reviews that violate these Terms
• Ratings help maintain trust and safety in the community

• Messages must be respectful and relevant to services
• Do not use messaging for harassment or spam
• We may monitor messages to ensure compliance and safety

• Administrators may contact you via Email for support and updates
• Your Email is used only for official Jiran communication
• You may opt-out of non-essential communications

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Jiran, its officers, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the app
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of others' rights
• Your transactions with other users

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate these Terms
• You engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
• Your account poses a security or safety risk
• You provide false information during registration
• You receive multiple negative reviews or complaints

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or via WhatsApp. Your continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

• Users are encouraged to resolve disputes directly with each other
• Contact our support team for mediation assistance
• These Terms are governed by the laws of Egypt
• Any legal disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Egyptian courts

• These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Jiran
• If any provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect
• Our failure to enforce any right does not waive that right
• You may not transfer your account or rights under these Terms

By using Jiran, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
